Braggin' time!

I got my LSAT scores back today.

176, baby.

Just to put that into perspective:

Test Takers: about 150,000 People who scored 176 or higher: about 700

The 99th percentile is between 169 and 170.

I am so smrt!

Welcome Havoc

I've got a huge soft spot for cats, especially the young and feral. I can't stand to see them living out short and uncomfortable lives on the streets of L.A., so I tend to take them in; Mayhem has been living with me for over a year now, and he's gone from a thin and tiny 6 pounds to a portly and healthy 18 (he's big-boned, seriously).

Anyway, last week I found another; she's super chill and very loving, not to mention almost too cute to be alive. I realize that didn't make any sense.

Anyway, here's Havoc. My guess is that she's about 6-8 months old.

She's already doing better here, although she hates it when Mayhem tries to play with her. She's put on some weight (you could see her ribs before), conquered her flea problem, and her bib and belly has gone from sickly yellow to vibrant white. I'd say she's doing fine now.

Yellow Fever

I guess it's old news to some of you by now, but the dear old Kan-a-tuna, which was simply pissing me off with its constant-project status, has been retired in favor of a brand-old new 2001 Honda VFR 800 Interceptor.

Color: very, very yellow. Beggars can't be choosers.

Anyhow, here she is in all her glory. No German, it ain't bangin an asian chick, but this kind of yellow fever will do for a while.

The specs, in case any of you are inclined, whether mechanically or otherwise, to care:

800cc (that's almost 50 cubic inches, in real gearhead-speak)
90 degree v-four cylinder layout, 16valve110 horsepower @ 10.5k rpm (11,800 redline), 62 lbs./ft. of torque
Water cooled, twin ancillary radiators
6 speed transmission, natch
460 pounds dry
150mph (theoretical) top speed, and I say theoretical because I'll never be stupid enough to put it there
dual 296mm front discs, single 256mm rear disc, and a single-sided swingarm that I find immensely cool
5.5 gallon fuel tank, theoretical range 210-275 miles
winner of numerous awards at its release, including "Bike of the Year," and "Best Sport Tourer," etc.

I can't wait to take this one touring - Vegas awaits! Now all I need is someone to ride bitch on the pillion...

Oh, and I now own three bikes. Anyone interested in a couple of used Suzukis?
